Introducing you to…Bibi Rouge from Sabrina Kennedy June 17 2014

I think it's that time to start introducing you to all the very talented designers and manufacturers that supply Maisee. I won't be including them in one 5 page-long blog, instead I will introduce them in separate shorter posts so stay tuned!

Bibi Rouge was started by Sabrina Kennedy in 2011 after initially designing part-time during her studies. After growing in popularity Sabrina decided to pursue her passion of fashion full-time, sharing her stunning one-of-a-kind designs with the rest of South Africa. In her words,

"I felt that in South Africa, we could only get expensive good quality clothing, or cheap, bad quality clothing. I saw this as a gap in the market, where I could help women find clothing that fits their curves and different body types, at an affordable price."

In her designs, Sabrina understands that not every woman is the same. We all have different curves and heights yet we all deserve to feel sexy and comfortable in well-fitted, flattering clothing made from good quality fabrics.

In addition, Sabrina also strives to maintain her business model of being environmentally and socially conscious-each garment is fair trade and locally made, sustaining employment in her local community, while ensuring that fabrics and patterns are never wasted.

I can vouch that Bibi Rouge garments make you feel absolutely gorgeous! When modelling the dresses for images for Meisie's shop, I didn't want to take the dresses off! I am a size 8/10 (I'd say a size 10 on the hips, as my mother likes to call them 'child-bearing') yet I felt comfortable and each dress was super flattering. Paired with some sexy black or even bold-coloured heels, you will certainly have heads turning on your night out in town! You can shop for them here, I am certain that you will love them as much as I do!
